The group was small, just 9 of us, but we were able to follow a daily routine of asanas two times a day, kiirtan and meditation 4 times a day, sentient food, and uplifting company. The weather was clear and we took advantage by going on long walks exploring the mountain side. Hope to have more collective programs like this in the future.
Moving together, going deeper into meditation, some of us for the first time, this was a blissful event which we will have to repeat in the future. On the path of meditation it is necessary to have the support of you peers. When we go on weekend intensives we build a small community that provides support for our daily practice of yoga and meditation. And when you locate this small community effort to go deeper into spiritual practice in an awe inspiring natural environment, there is bound to be joy and fulfillment. Though the program lasted only 2 days we wished it could have go on much longer. We are all looking forward for the next event to share meditation in nature.
